ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, April 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Breaking the Chains Worldwide, in partnership with Friendship Baptist Church, proudly announces the 3rd Annual Youth Entrepreneurship, Career & Talent Expo, a dynamic community event designed to empower youth through entrepreneurship, career development, and real-world opportunities.

The event will take place at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30314, bringing together students, professionals, and community leaders for a day of inspiration, access, and advancement, featuring special guest, Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr..

This year’s Expo will serve as a powerful platform for middle and high school students, as well as young adults, to explore pathways into entrepreneurship and employment while gaining exposure to future-focused industries.

A Launchpad for the Next Generation
More than just an event, the Expo is a launchpad for future leaders, innovators, and creators. Attendees will gain direct access to:

● On-the-spot interviews with companies actively hiring

● A Youth Business Pitch Competition featuring a $1,000 unrestricted grant

● Hands-on workshops across multiple industries

● Trade school and certification program opportunities

“At Breaking the Chains, we believe that when you pour into our youth, you change the trajectory of entire communities,” said Shar Bates, Founder of Breaking the Chains Worldwide. “Education, exposure, and opportunity are the keys—and we’re committed to making sure our youth have access to all three.”

Empowering Young Entrepreneurs

A highlight of the Expo is the Youth Business Pitch Competition, where students will present their ideas to a panel of professionals for funding and mentorship opportunities.

This year’s competition includes Bob Mackey, a Shark Tank deal recipient, author, and filmmaker, bringing real-world insight to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Workshops will span industries such as custom sneaker design, food and beverage, music production, videography, and DJing—offering hands-on experiences youth can immediately apply.

Building Futures Through Access & Opportunity

Breaking the Chains Worldwide continues to create spaces where youth are not only inspired—but equipped. By combining mentorship, employment access, and entrepreneurial education, the organization is actively bridging the gap between potential and opportunity.

This Expo is more than a one-day event—it’s part of a larger mission to empower youth, strengthen communities, and create pathways to long-term success.
