Over Four Hundred Attacks in West Bank Reported

(MENAFN) Israeli forces carried out 443 incidents in the West Bank over the past month, resulting in nine Palestinian fatalities and the displacement of six Bedouin communities, according to reports from the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.

Commission head Muayyad Shaaban described the operations as “escalatory and organized,” noting that they involved live gunfire, arson against homes and property, and the imposition of new realities on the ground aimed at reshaping the geographic and demographic landscape of the West Bank.

Shaaban stated that these attacks occurred throughout all West Bank governorates, with significant activity concentrated in Nablus in the north and Hebron in the south. The incidents over the past four weeks led to the deaths of nine Palestinians at different locations.

The wave of attacks also forced the displacement of six Bedouin communities, impacting 58 families comprising 256 individuals, including 79 women and 166 children, the statement said.

Reports indicated that Israeli forces attempted to establish 14 new settlement outposts, carried out 123 acts of vandalism, caused 18 fires in civilian property, and conducted three attacks targeting religious sites.

Shaaban added that Israeli authorities issued 12 military orders during the same period to seize approximately 225 dunams of Palestinian land for military use and 27 orders to uproot trees across 1,391 dunams in several governorates.

He stressed that the escalation reflects a “systematic policy exploiting global distraction by ongoing war,” cautioning that its continuation could threaten regional stability.

Shaaban called on the international community and human rights organizations to fulfill their legal and moral obligations, take decisive action to stop these violations, and ensure protection for the Palestinian population.
