U.S. Department of Justice Removes Over One Dozen from Epstein Files
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee flagged the deletion via X, the social media platform, stating: "This photo, file 468, from the Epstein files that includes Donald Trump has apparently now been removed from the DOJ release."
Committee members demanded that Attorney General Pamela Bondi deliver "transparency for the American public."
The purged materials also encompassed images depicting various artworks, several containing nudity, media reported.
The deletions follow Friday's disclosure of thousands of investigative documents tied to the sex trafficking probe targeting convicted offender Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Officials released the trove on the final day of a 30-day deadline imposed by the Epstein Files Transparency Act—federal legislation compelling the Justice Department to declassify all materials connected to the criminal investigation.
