Quadcopter Attack in Pakistan Leaves Three Dead

(MENAFN) Three individuals, among them a child, lost their lives while four others sustained injuries during a quadcopter assault carried out by unidentified militants in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, authorities reported on Wednesday.

The event took place on Tuesday in the Bannu district, where the quadcopter targeted a gathering of people, resulting in three immediate fatalities, the police stated in a press release.

Both the deceased and those injured were transported to a nearby medical facility, according to law enforcement sources.

At present, no organization has stepped forward to claim responsibility for the attack.

Police have initiated an inquiry into the occurrence to determine the circumstances and identify those accountable.
